The Bon Bon series is characteristic of his work at its most exuberant — forms that are simultaneously sculptural and playful, colours that shouldn't work together and absolutely do.

This piece is a case in point. The body is a full, flattened sphere in misted teal — cloud-like internal texture, deep in the centre, lighter toward the edges, the kind of colour that holds atmosphere rather than just occupying space. From the sphere, a ribbed neck rises in warm terracotta orange, drawn into a flared lip with fine vertical ribs that catch light along their edges. A handle in solid lemon yellow arcs from neck to shoulder — a colour choice so confident it could only have been made by someone who knew exactly what they were doing. A slender pedestal foot in clear glass lifts the whole form off the surface, giving it the slightly precarious elegance of something that knows it's being looked at.

Retains its original Kosta Boda label. Excellent vintage condition throughout. Not signed, but fully authenticated by the label and the unmistakable character of the Bon Bon series.

This is a collector's piece — sought after, increasingly scarce, and not the kind of thing that comes up twice.
