Mastery in Traceability
Stanley Stella goes beyond certifications by ensuring full traceability across their entire value chain — from seed selection to the finished garment. This enables them to confidently verify that every material is responsibly handled at each stage.
In 2024, they launched an industry-wide decarbonisation plan — a major initiative that unites the entire Stanley Stella ecosystem around a single goal: to reduce carbon emissions by 30% by 2030 across the entire value chain.
Setting a new standard of collaboration
Through close partnerships with factories, ginners and farmers, Stanley Stella is setting a new standard of collaboration to drive meaningful change. Their mission is to inspire positive change and lead the textile industry toward a more sustainable future.
By limiting the number of suppliers and working collaboratively, they build trust, uphold high standards and ensure that commitments to quality, people and the planet are met.
Their approach prioritises action over words — partnering exclusively with those who share their values of respect for people and the environment.
Cotton cutting waste
recycled into new fabric
Stanley Stella recycles cotton fabric cutting waste by shredding it into yarn and blending it 50/50 with new virgin organic fibre to create high-quality fabric.
Nothing is wasted. Every scrap becomes something worth wearing again.

What makes cotton truly organic
For a cotton to be certified organic, it must pass rigorous testing across every stage of production.
Seeds must be non-genetically modified and grown without toxic synthetic chemicals, pesticides or fertilisers.
Production must reduce overall human, animal and environmental impact at every stage.
Safe working conditions, no child labour and fair wages throughout the entire supply chain.
Production must protect water supplies and treat all waste water. Chlorine bleaches and cancer-causing chemicals used in conventional textile processing are strictly prohibited.
77 million non-organic cotton farmers suffer from acute pesticide poisoning each year, resulting in up to 20,000 deaths. Due to chemical exposure, the average life expectancy of a non-organic cotton farmer in India is mid-thirties.
Every garment is independently verified
Global Organic Textile Standard — the world's leading textile processing standard for organic fibres
Global Recycled Standard — verifies recycled content and responsible social, environmental and chemical practices
PETA-Approved Vegan — no animal-derived materials used in any part of the garment
Tests for harmful substances — every component tested against over 100 substances that are harmful to human health
Every tee is made to order.
Made with purpose. Made for you.
