This is the most densely embroidered piece in the Home Edit Suzani range — and it shows. The ivory silk ground is barely visible beneath a composition that fills every inch: a central fan of petals rising from a heart, flanked by full-bloom florals in crimson and teal, fuchsia hanging blossoms trailing fine gold threads at their tips, scattered hearts and leaf forms in blush and sage. It reads as joyful without being loud — the ivory ground keeps it grounded, and the palette, though wide, is held together by a consistent warmth in every tone.

The embroidery is worked in silk thread on a silk and cotton ground — which means the surface has a luminosity that cotton-only pieces simply don't achieve. In certain light the thread catches and the whole cushion appears to glow faintly. In a neutral room it becomes the focal point.
