Ivory & Sage Suzani Cushion Cover | Hand-Embroidered Uzbek Floral | Boho Accent Pillow
Description
HANDMADE: LEAD TIME UP TO TWO WEEKS
In Uzbekistan, a Suzani was never just a textile. It was made by a bride and her female relatives — stitched over months, sometimes years — and carried into a new home as an act of love, protection, and intention. The word itself comes from the Persian suzan: needle. Every piece is a record of the hands that made it.
This cushion cover brings that tradition directly into a living room. The ground is natural cotton, off-white and softly textured. Across it, a dense floral composition spreads from a framed border inward — climbing vines, open blooms, curling tendrils, all hand-stitched in sage green using the chain stitch and basma (satin stitch) techniques that Uzbek craftswomen have practiced for generations. The effect is dimensional, almost sculptural. Up close, you can see the individual stitches. Stand back, and it reads as a garden in full growth.
It works as a sofa accent, a bedroom statement, or a gift for someone whose home deserves something that took real time to make.
